Range Construction Report (Last Updated 14 Sept 2017 at 8:23pm)

Watch for construction vehicles coming or going from the Rifle Range, especially Friday and Saturday.

Rifle Range

Friday and Saturday, trucks of fill are expected onsite. When a truck arrives at the Rifle Range, UNLOAD and remove firearms from the firing line, until he leaves, then you can continue shooting.

Plowing Colour Key:

Road is Open Use At your Own Risk - May not be advisable for some vehicles (snow, ice, low-hanging branches, etc) Road absolutely Closed - Do not use (to prevent damage to road, for example)

The Shotgun Faction will be holding an August shoot. It'll be a similar format to our May event. Details below.

If you are able to help out (no experience required!), please contact BJ Dawson at 623-8011.

New: Range Booking

A Government Department has booked the PISTOL ranges from July 4 to July 7, inclusive, each day until about 3pm. Please give them their space.

Bookings by Government agencies are a great thing - they are an excellent source of revenue for the Club, and they provide a proper local training area to safely practice, saving taxpayer dollars in travel.

The booking is on the Club calendar on the website - it's good to check the calendar from time to time, especially before a trip to the range, to ensure everything is all A-OK, but also to see what events are coming up.

Safe shooting!

A digital camera and bag were found on the rifle range. If you're missing one, please contact Doug at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it., or at 622-7817, to arrange to pick it up.

Also, the Road Conditions section of the website has been turned off for the year, as all Sections are open. Please drive lightly on the roads when wet. Max speed on all sections: 20-30Kph, and watch for oncoming traffic or people popping out of the woods.
