Minutes of Annual Meeting 11 December 2007
The regular meeting of the Miramichi Sportsmen’s Club was called to order at 7PM on 11 December 2007 with Mr Harold Parlee presiding..
It was moved by Paul and seconded by Albert that the agenda be approved. Motion carried.
Minutes of the last meeting were read and approved.
Harold Parlee went over the financial report and moved that it be accepted as read, seconded by Charles McNamara. Motion carried.
Moved by Mr. Getty that in future contract be made for all major work, detailing all work and price and that estimates be obtained from at least 2 contractors. Motion carried.
New lease agreements have been signed.
Insurance for the Club was discussed and it was decided to remain with The Shooting Federation.
Membership dues was discussed and it was decided that it remain at $75.00 for this year and that spouses and children over 18 years of age be increased from $10.00 to $30.00. Children under 18 will remain at $10.00. Motion carried.
COMMITTEE REPORTS
(1)Rifle: Nil
(2)Pistol: Dennis reported that the berm has been rebuilt and that they had a shoot last fall. It is proposed that three or four shoots will be held next year.
(3)Shotgun: Paul reported that our Spring shoot in May was rained out. We had two shoots this Fall and a shoot was planned for 29 Dec 22007.
Executive for the coming year was approved..
