Miramichi Sportsmens Club
Our annual meeting was held on December 15th with only 15 members showing up. This was a very disappointing turn out
considering most all members were phoned and notified of the meeting. Last year we had 123 members.
Remember- If you don’t attend any meetings do not complain on the decisions made by those who do attend
Membership Dues for 2009
Regular Members- $100
Spouse - $40.00
Children under 16 yrs. – Free
After April 30th, 2009 Regular Dues - $125 (Late Fees)
After April 30th late fees are being added to encourage members to pay their annual dues early in the year as a lot of our
insurances, lease fees and other expenses come in the 1st quarter of the year and we struggle to keep our head above water.
If membership dues are paid early in the year as it should be then we can manage our bills.

The Pistol faction reported they intend to put on a number of shoots at our range consisting of a variety of formats including IPSA, Combat, Bulls eye, etc. during 2009. If you have interest in participating in any of these types of handgun shooting formats contact Dennis or Doug.
The Rifle Faction will have to wait until the range floor dries up enough so that the necessary work can be completed to have the Range government certified. This will probably be done in late May or June. Alexis will then meet with the rifle shooters and set up a shoot schedule.
The Shotgun faction will have a busy shoot schedule this summer with shooters having the opportunity to shoot Skeet, Trap, Sporting Clays as well as 5 Stand. We will be holding our first shoot of the year on Saturday May 16th. This will be a 50 Bird Sporting Clays shoot with all Club members as well as the general public invited. Reminder Please renew your membership as soon as possible. Membership forms can be printed directly from our website or you can fill out your forms at Miramichi Volkswagen and give it to Paul Nowlan. (Paul has membership forms, cards and new keys to the Range gate)
