MINUTES OF CLUB MEETINGS
Miramichi Sportsmens Club
Minutes of May 09 2006
President Charles McNamara called the meeting to order at 7:30PM with 11 members present.
Minutes of the last meeting dated 7 February 2006 were read and moved by Paul Nowlan and seconded by Alexis Robichaud that they be approved as read. Motion carried.
Treasurer Harold Parlee reported we had $3284.97 in our account at the present time. Harold gave a detailed report and it was moved by Alexis Robichaud and seconded by Paul Nowlan that the report be accepted as given. Motion carried.
Faction Reports:
Rifle:
Alexis reported that any rifle shoots will be listed on our web page.
Paul suggested that an all around shoot be held which would include rifle, pistol and shotgun.
This was decided to be a good idea and a tentative date of 12 Aug was set.
Shotgun:
Paul reported that 20 May will be our opening with a 50 round Sporting Clay shoot.
Membership now stands at 97.
Charles gave a general report:
Pistol range has been cleaned up.
Automatic trap machine will be set up this coming week.
Application has been sent in for Government funds.
170 Newsletters were sent.
Forestry has been contacted regarding adding to the size of our lease.
It was moved by Alexis and seconded by Paul that the club would donate $75 two times per year to assist factions with shoots.
Moved by Alexis and seconded by Gerald that the meeting adjourn.
